How the WAM calculator works
Add a row for each unit, enter your numeric mark out of 100 and its credit points. This calculator multiplies each unit’s mark by its credit points, adds these up across all your units, then divides by your total credit points.
Unlike GPA, WAM uses your raw marks rather than converting them to grade points first, so it can be more sensitive to small differences between units. Some universities also weight WAM by year level — check your own institution’s policy for an official calculation.
