GPA Calculator

Calculate your Grade Point Average from unit grades and credit points.

Your GPA (7-point scale)

6.00

Uses a common 7-point scale — edit grades if your university uses a different one

This calculator provides estimates for general information only and should not be considered financial, tax or legal advice. Check official Australian Government sources for current rates and rules.

How the GPA calculator works

Add a row for each unit you’ve completed, choose its grade, and enter its credit points. This calculator multiplies each unit’s grade point by its credit points, adds these up, then divides by your total credit points to give a credit-weighted GPA.

This tool defaults to a common 7-point scale (High Distinction = 7 down to Fail = 0), but Australian universities use different scales and rules — check your own university’s policy if you need an official figure.
